For Frigidaire the Loewy offices not only conceived appliances but also created a 1945 publication, Design for Selling, which offered modern store plans for retailers eager to take full advantage of the postwar boom. This assignment drew on many of the services that Loewy offered, from product design to graphics, commercial architecture, interior design, and retail planning.
