Unfortunately they infest Chicago. Good bye to Chicago unless entomologist Peter Graves can discover an alternative in time! Directed and produced by Bert I. Gordon. The locusts are effectively done until they capture one (we are not told how) and place it in a cage inside a Chicago office building. The scene is fatal to the movie because it renders the creatures harmless. Also, the locust could easily reach through the widely spaced bars, but it does not even try!
