Devil Girl From Mars is based on a play that begins as an intriguing character study. The men on Mars are dying so the planet's leaders decide to send someone to Earth to bring back a fresh supply of healthy men. After Nyah's ship crash-lands in Scotland, she seeks help at a village inn. She tries to convince the men, including a disbelieving scientist and an ex-convict to come with her, but doesn't understand their wives' objections. Patricia Laffan is Nyah with Joseph Tomelty as the scientist and Peter Reynolds as the ex-convict. By the time Devil Girl appears she seems quite audacious compared to the assorted humans.
