In The Gamma People a mad scientist experiments on children to produce geniuses. Often the subjects become mindless ghouls that stalk the streets of a village that looks like Bavaria. Paul Douglas and Eva Bartok attempt to rescue some of the captives. Humor lightens the proceedings and the festival scenes are effective, but the comical characters tend to dampen the attempts at terror.
