AMT produced a "Reggie Jackson Collection" series that included a 1963 Studebaker Avanti. Reginald Martínez Jackson was born on May 18, 1946 in Wyncote, Pennsylvania. Jackson played for the Kansas City Athletics (1967), Oakland Athletics (1968-1975, 1987), Baltimore Orioles (1976), New York Yankees (1977-1981), and the California Angels (1982-1986). He earned the nickname “Mr. October” for his World Series heroics with both the A's and Yankees. In 27 Fall Classic games, he amassed 10 home runs—including four in a row—24 RBI and a .357 batting average. Jackson compiled a lifetime slugging percentage of .490 and earned American League MVP honors in 1973. Jackson also collected cars. An Avanti was included in the AMT Reggie Jackson Collector Series.
