1989 Avanti Convertible built by The Avanti Motor Corporation, Youngstown Ohio. Car was the 1990 Luxury Edition Show Car for the 1989 Auto Show Circuit. It has a silver all fiberglass body, recently refinished. It is different from the production models in that it has chrome framing on the windows and chrome door handles instead of black anodized metal. The car is equipped with a Supercharged Chevy 305 engine and chevy transmission. The interior has gray leather seats and dash, a burled wood instrument panel with analog instrumentation and is fully carpeted, including the trunk. It has a Blaupunkt AM/FM/CD stereo system with custom amp and Boston Acoustic speakers. Rear trunk has a chrome luggage rack, which is also a custom feature. The rear vinyl window has been upgraded to improved visibility acrylic. |
