R3-R4
The Studebaker Avanti's proportions are unconventional. Compared to compact cars like the Studebaker Lark, it appears long, even though the Lark convertible X-frame was used for the Avanti chassis. Next to standard big cars, it looks long, low, and narrow. Compared to traditional sports cars, it is big and its four passenger configuation puts it in the GT class. A four-passenger Jaguar XK-E from the same era is probably its closest rival in this area.
