After World War II Studebaker introduced a "New Look" with a wrap-around rear window then a "Next Look" with the familiar "bullet nose" front end. Studebaker Avanti ads were published in national magazines like Time and Life from early 1962 until mid 1963. Avanti was often portrayed as a luxury vehicle more like a Cadillac than a Corvette. Studebaker took advantage of it's track record and created other ads that portray the Avanti as fast and sporty.
