Bonhams & Butterfields' 20th Century Decorative Arts auction in Los Angeles on April 20, 2010 featured drawings by
Raymond Loewy including a red Avanti. The auction also displayed a 1975
Avanti II Coupe. While Bonhams has been involved with collector cars at auction, this was the first time an automobile was offered during their 20th Century Decorative Art auction.
