The Cars of Hallbrook was a private collection of American automobiles from around the country and throughout the 20th century. The collection contained some of the rarest, most exclusive American automobiles in existence, with strong emphasis on minimal mileage and maximum originality. Many of the cars were offered by Mecum Auctions in September of 2012. These included this 1964 Studebaker Avanti with chrome wire wheels, solid color interior with black carpeting and round headlight bezels. The car has a supercharged 289 V-8 engine, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, dual exhaust, and woodgrain steering wheel. The Raymond Loewy-designed Studebaker Avanti created a sensation upon its introduction, and examples like this one-owner 1964 coupe still please enthusiasts with unique features and spirited performance.
